Meet Tonja Stiina Kaminen, the creative force behind Forest Adventures Basel! Tonja grew up in the magical forests of Finland, surrounded by thousands of lakes and endless woods. Her childhood was filled with woodland exploration and learning the art of foraging from her knowledgeable grandparents. With a deep-seated respect for nature instilled from a young age, she migrated to Switzerland in 1996, where her passion for connecting people with the great outdoors continued to flourish. Over the past two decades, Tonja has worked as a Kindergarten teacher and dedicated herself to crafting unforgettable experiences in the nature for children and families. From weekly forest excursions with her Kindergarten group and annual forest camps to team-building exercises, training sessions and forest-themed events, she infuses every gathering with her love for nature and commitment to fostering bonds amidst trees. And when celebrating special occasions, Tonja's forest-inspired birthday parties are guaranteed to spark joy and adventure in all who attend!

Tonja is a certified Kindergarten teacher, a forest pedagogy trained, a yoga instructor for both kids and grownups, a hobby artist, and -gardener. Currently, she is training to become an official Forest Bathing Guide.
